Centre Club - Breakfast with an Executive: Judge Natalie Adams @ Centre Club
Breakfast with an Executive featuring guest speaker: Judge Natalie Adams Natalie Adams is a United States Magistrate Judge whose career has been dedicated to public service. She volunteers on court programs to assist formerly incarcerated individuals and people who cannot afford lawyers, and promotes civil engagement among school children. Natalie also teaches Advanced Trial Practice at Duke Law School. Prior to becoming a judge, Natalie worked for 10 years as a federal prosecutor, targeting violent and organized crime. For her work, she received the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award, the second highest civilian honor given by the Department of Justice. Natalie has also worked in private practice. She was a partner at the law firms Foley & Lardner and Bradley Arant, and was a senior associate at WilmerHale, where Natalie won the prestigious Pickering Pro Bono Award for representing Peace Corps victims of sexual assault seek policy reform. Her clients testified before Congress, and helped pass a federal law protecting future volunteers.
